Jesus Didn't Silence Women, He Empowered Them

The Talitha Koum Project started after years of research into the relationship Jesus had with women, focusing on the ways He gave them back their voice, their autonomy, their dignity, sometimes their very lives. He never shamed them or silenced them. On the contrary: He empowered them to go and tell others the good news of His Gospel. The Talitha Koum Project, named for Jesus' words to Jairus' daughter in Mark 5, is a place for women to find healing after years of patriarchal biblical interpretation, years of being told to be silent, years of being told they mattered less than men.
